Nehemias V. Nunez (Nemy)

Nehemias V. Nunez (Nemy), 71, went to be with his Creator on the December 24, 2014, in El Paso, Texas. He was born on October 29, 1943 in Talavera N.E., Philippines to Osmundo C. Nunez and Lorenza Valdez. He is survived by the love of his life, wife Mary Nunez, and his sons Nehemias N. Nunez Jr, wife Franchesca E. Nunez, son Christopher J. Nunez wife Katrina Nunez, and grandchildren Nehemias L. Nunez III (Larry), Nathaniel B. Nunez, Mitchell T. Oberhelman , Isaiah Nunez and soon to arrive Isabelle Nunez. He is also survived by his sisters Rebecca Molina husband Jaime, Nora Meling husband Gary, and Ruth Apuan husband Alfredo. He is preceded by his parents, brother Osmundo Nunez Jr. and daughter Emily T. Nunez. He served in the U.S. Army, 728th Military Police Battalion, during the Korean War. He is an Irvin High School alumni, was a proud grandfather, a true Dallas Cowboy’s, boxing, MMA, and old action movie fan. Viewing will be at Martin Funeral Home (Central) on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at 5:00pm and Rosary Service to follow at 7:00pm. Mass will be held at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at 1:00pm then at 2:30pm the internment with military honors will be at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
