Norma Gomez, 63, beloved daughter, sister, godmother and aunt was called by the Lord on Thursday, October 15, 2015. The dearest aspect of her life was her family. She was a 1971 Bowie High School graduate and an El Paso District teacher for several years. She is survived by her mother, Bersabe (Lupia) Gomez, preceded in death by her father, Albino (Cono) Gomez; 4 siblings, Tere Espinosa, Bobby Gomez, Nancy Black and Larry Gomez, also left to mourn her loss were her god children and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5 pm to 9 pm, Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Martin Funeral Home Central with a 7:00 pm Vigil. Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 pm Friday, October 23, 2015 at St. Patrick Cathedral, Interment to follow at Evergreen East Cemetery. Services entrusted to Martin Funeral Home, 3839 Montana.
