Your father, was always a good friend to me and many others in and out of the Zoo.  I know he tried very hard to fight his condition. He was always positive about  getting better.  He talked fondly of all his family and children throughout the years. May his soul be in heaven where he is no longer in pain.  He was a great person to know. I am blessed to count him as a friend. Dad you will be forever missed! You were always in good spirit, positive and even though you were sick. That was just you. Always encouraging and thank you for always being there when I needed you. The boys and I will miss you very much. 🕊️🙏 It puts a smile to my face I was able to be there for you at your last moments watching you sing. You are in peace and went peacefully and I’m smiling for you.  ❤️🎶 Rolling stone (dad whistle calling) 😅

It was with great sadness when Ana first advised me that Mando had passed away. I first met Mando and his family back in the late sixties when when we lived at the Diablo apartments next door to the coliseum. We later moved to the Clardy area when we played baseball and basketball for the Junie jets. I had recently visited with Mando when he shared with me what he was going through. I always knew that he had the heart of a lion. He was a very good friend to me and many others. See you for now, I hope to reunite with him some day in heaven. Good bye my friend for now!

RIP my friend. I will miss our talks and your encouraging words . No more pain , rest easy. 

On your birthday 4/4/23 you were super excited to celebrate your birthday with us eating your favorite sopita!!! You got so happy to hear Ethan did a 3 pointer at his game using your techniques, this is so unreal but I’m happy that you no longer have shingles pain!
