Ofelia Salcido, 87, of El Paso, Texas passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025. Ofelia was a strong, independent, and self-sufficient woman. She was a very loving and determined person with a positive can-do attitude. Ofelia volunteered and fundraised for Clardy Fox Elementary School. She also filled all the offices to include President of the Clardy Fox elementary school PTA. During her years in the workforce Ofelia served as manager for Farah and Safeway and Furr's supermarkets. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodolfo Carrillo and grandchildren, Ronnie, Anthony, and Raymond Flores. Ofelia is survived by her children, Jose Ruben Flores (Marie Flores), Enrique Flores (Maria Dolores), Danny Flores (Evelia), Teresa Patricia Mast Flores (Ray), Ricardo Flores (Martha), Jimmy Flores, Jr. (Lucille), and Arturo Flores. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 11 a.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East, 12400 Montana, 79938. Rite of Committal will follow at Evergreen Cemetery East.
