

Oscar Francisco Zarzosa, 91, left this life on May 31, 2013 surrounded by loved ones. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. In 1940, Oscar joined the United States Army and he bravely fought for his country in WWWII with the 872nd Tank Destroyer Battalion in France and Germany. Upon returning home Oscar married Eva Garcia in 1949 and dedicated 30years to the Union Pacific Railroad. Oscar enjoyed playing pool, swimming, being outdoors and spending time surrounded by family. Soft spoken and compassionate Oscar loved with all his heart and is the true definition of unconditional love. He is preceded in death by his mother Concepcion Zarzosa Gameros and his father Salvador Zarzosa Verastigue, brothers Hector and Salvador, sister Nena, and uncle Kiko. He is survived by his wife Eva Zarzosa and his children Martha Molina, Dolores Lucas, Oscar Zarzosa, Sylvia Navarro, Connie “Concha” Tapia, Arturo Zarzosa, his 20 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 5pm -9pm followed by rosary at 7pm at FDA Martin Central 3839 Montana. Mass will be Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Church 602 S.
