Grandpa, tomorrow will be a year that you left us for a better place. There is not a day that goes by where a thought or memory of you does not cross my mind, I miss you just as much as i did that first day, but i know that you continue to watch over us all. I love you grandpa and i miss you so much!

You may not be here with us right now, because your watching over us and making sure we are safe...but as you are doing that I just want to tell you some of the memories we had together like those times when I would come to grandmas house and watch Disney channel with you, and when I would do your hair in the swimming pool, and those times we would sit in the kitchen and do those mini games they had on the newspaper. Grandpa you were also a very happy ,loving and generous person. You always  knew how to put a smile on peoples faces. Well you were the best grandpa a person could ask for. I'm happy that you are not suffering anymore and in pain...Well I am not going to say bye to you cause I know I will see you later, so for now see you later grandpa thank you for watching over us and keeping all of us safe. Happy Fathers day Grandpa!Today is the first fathers day without you here and it was the hardest...I keep telling myself your in a better place but I cannot help but miss you. As I looked in your room today I remember your everyday outfit which included yout blue dickes, worn out white t-shirts, and checkered shirts, our walks around the block where we would sit at every rock wall for a little break, I remember swimming in the pool while you sat in the pool in your same spot just watching over us.  Everytime I walk to the backyard and see your chair I can still see you smiling back at us all. There are so many memories I will take with me until we meet again, but until then Grandpa thank you for all the love you showed us and everything you taught us. I am so blessed to have been born into this incredible family you created. I miss you so much grandpa, I know you are watching over us all from heaven now and I thank you for that. I love you!

I know you are no longer with us but knowing you are not suffering anymore is my consolation.  I know you are with our Lord in paradise and are always watching over us still I can't help this overwhelming feeling of sadness knowing that you are no longer here with us.  I thank God for all the years that we were able to have you and thank you for all your love and understanding. You were a great dad and a wonderful grandfather and will always be in our hearts and in our memories.

Grandpa,

Words cannot express how much I love you and how much it will never feel the same to not see you there at home. How I will miss not seeing "Monic" on my christmas envelope from you, and especially how you loved my son even though he would drive you crazy. I remember how you loved me the same way. The same love you have shown our family equally. Not only were you the best Grandpa one could have, you played many roles. You were our Macgyver (duct tape was your specialty), our saturday morning chef (Your pancakes were delicious and that wheatgerm regulated us all), and you always made sure the pool was clean and ready for us to dive into (thank you for my diving skills). Plus soooo much more. I love you Grandpa and I cant wait for the day to be able to see you again. I didnt forget what you told me that day in the hospital and yes I will keep a close eye on Michael and make sure he turns out to be just as wonderful as you. Please let God know that Ill especially need his help to get that job done. Miss you and love you Grandpa, now our Angel.

There is no greater thing in life than the love and comfort of a grandpa, i will forever remember the kindness in your heart and the time you spent with all us MILLION grandchildren. We are surrounded by a wonderful family that you made possible. I will forever carry you in my heart and mind. You were a wonderful man with endless love to give, and that we shall never forget. I MISS YOU SOOOOO MUCH, but am greatful to have spent many years with you. I LOVE YOU GRANDPA!!!

Grandpa, its nearly impossible to put into words what you meant to all of us. Traits and characteristics that this family shows and has because of the way you raised and treated each of us.  Your compassion, generousity and undeniable love will truly be missed.  I cry for sadness because I can no longer lay on your bed as we watched miner basketball, but smile within that you are up in heaven protecting us.  Just know Grandpa that we will all continue to take care of eachother just like the way you always took care of us... I love you Grandpa, and I sleep a little easier everyday knowing we will see you again one day... love you grandpa

Grandpa, there are no words that can express how much you ment to this family. You were a great man and an even better grandfather. I remember the days when we would get out of control and you would put us in our place but always showed us love. You would fix any problems we had. We weren't the richest family, by any means, so when we needed something you improvised. I remember we wanted a basketball court but couldn't afford one, so you cut the bottom out of a milk crate and tied it to the light post! We also had so much fun getting a dollar on Domingos and burnt pancakes were always the best :). You have influenced us all so much and have had a profound impact on each and everyone of us. You helped make us the people we are today. I take great pride in knowing my son carries your name and he will know what a wonderful, strong, and loving great-grandfather he had! I wish you could of met him in person, but something tells me you have. ;)  I love you so much and miss you but I know you are looking down at us from heaven. Until the day we meet again, I love you grandpa!

Grandpa thank you for all the wonderful memories .i thank The Lord for the time my girls got to spend with you. May you rest in your new glorified body and enjoy your time with your great grandson  Cody. We will miss you and look forward to the day our Lord lets us see your handsome face agian. Dad,
As I sit here writing these words for you, my dad, I am filled with sadness in my heart and tears in my eyes because, I knew this day would come.  I saw you getting stronger and stronger and I thought you would out live us, then all of a sudden you seemed to slow down and you looked at me with sadness in your eyes and now I know you were saying goodbye.  You had this calmness in you that I could not understand.  If I did I would have been selfish and said, “Don't go.”  Now I know it was your time to leave us because you were at peace and ready to go.  I never got the chance to thank you for everything you have done for me.  Dad you were the perfect definition of a true and wonderful father.  No matter how old I got you were always there to take care of me and support me in any way you could.  Dad you have always been a very loving, supporting, caring, and patient person.  You filled my life with love, happiness, comfort, and security.  I had a father that a lot of kids wished they had.  I was very glad God gave you to me.  Thank you.  Thank you a million.  In the 91 years I had you there wasn't enough time to thank you for everything you did for me.  Once God sent me to you so you could take care of me, until he was ready to call you back, and now I ask God to watch and take care of you until we can be together again.  My heart will be hurting this Father's Day for it will be my first Father's Day without you in my life.  Happy Father's Day to you, my Dad.  I could go on days and days talking about you, but I could never completely tell you what you meant to me.  I already miss you Dad, but you're in a better place.  May you rest in peace.  You will always be in my heart, soul, and, my memories.

Although today is a sad day we have a very important man to remember, Mister Oscar was not only a sweet person but a loving one at that. I remember being small in the Zarzosa household seeing Mr. Oscar cook himself either his famous pancakes or fish and still making the kids around him one which were delicious!! At times i thought to myself," how does an old man like mister Oscar have strength to do the things he does?" Well this is where i believe all his love came in. It might have seemed like he would clean the pool just because he had nothing else to do every summer, but Noooo I believe he cleaned it too see his grandchildren in it and i could tell because of the way he would sit there and float around while the kids were splashing away! There are many good things to say about him in fact i don't remember any negative ones at all but for now," Thank you Mister Oscar for being so accepting and lovable and although we would see each other and hardly conversed i remember the things you did, the way that you were and how you treated us!"
