She was the wife of LTC Vince Carafano Jr. and the mother of Vincent Carafano III, Christianne Carafano, and Michelle Carafano, as well as the grandmother to five grandchildren and the great- grandmother to twelve great-grandchildren.
As an avid patron of the arts, Patricia was a pianist, painter, and sketch artist, decorating her home with beautiful prints and oil paintings created by herself and others. She showed her creativity by sewing clothing for herself and many family members and loved to play the piano. Patricia’s love for the theatre and dance was a springboard for her beloved daughters to develop their talents in these areas as well. She directed many plays at the Moulin Rouge dinner theatre at Ft. Bliss as well as starring in numerous roles and supporting the productions of the theatre.
Patricia was active in Lifegate Church and led the Lighthouse Players drama group there. She participated in the church’s worship dance team for many years. Family memories of Patricia include her love for chocolate, her devotion to her many dogs through the years, and her boundless energy, involving her in numerous civic, political, and community causes.
