He was born in El Paso, TX on December 24, 1990.
Philip graduated from Andress High School in 2009. He joined the Army in 2016, completed OSUT training as a Cavalier Scout. After completion of OSUT he graduated from Airborne school in 2018. Philip’s first duty station was Ft. Bragg where he became a paratrooper for the 82nd Airborne Division . Philip re-classed and graduated in 2025 as Army intelligence and was stationed at Ft. Campbell.
Philip got married to Monique Gonzalez on June 8, 2018.
Philip was in the United States Army and had a passion for the outdoors, working out, traveling ,and family time.
Philip Michael Gonzalez is joined by his late father, Felipe Manuel Gonzalez, and is survived by Monique Gonzalez (Wife), Noah De La O (child) Mateo Gonzalez (child), Lilliana Gonzalez (child), Antonia Julie Flores-Fernandez (Mom), Samantha Gonzalez (Sister) and Crystal Laumea (sister).
Visitation is on March 13, 2026 from 4 PM to 6 PM at Evergreen Cemetery East. Funeral arrangement will be held at Evergreen Cemetery East at 11:00 AM on March 14, 2026.
