

Rachel was the beloved daughter of Rosario Noguera Torres and Reyes Torres Sr. She spent most of her life in El Paso and was known by those around her as a hardworking and determined woman. She worked many years at J.C. Penney and later at H&R Block, where she earned the respect of her coworkers through her dedication and strong work ethic.
Rachel was a strong woman who faced life with quiet resilience. As a single mother, she worked tirelessly to provide for and raise her beloved son, Arturo Cisneros, who was the greatest joy and pride of her life. With the loving support of her family, who helped her along the way, she remained devoted to giving him the best life she could. Her determination and love for her son guided everything she did.
She had a generous heart and a free spirit, often giving what she could to help others and donating whenever possible. Her kindness and willingness to give reflected the compassion she carried throughout her life.
Rachel was a devout Catholic and a faithful member of St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Her faith was an important part of who she was and gave her strength and comfort throughout her life.
She appreciated the simple things in life. Rachel loved roses and valued quiet moments of peace and solitude. In her younger years she enjoyed traveling when she had the chance and spending time with her family. In later years she stayed closely connected to loved ones through many phone conversations, always appreciating the opportunity to talk and keep in touch.
Rachel is survived by her loving son, Arturo Cisneros (Valentina); her brother, Reyes Torres (Alice); her sister-in-law, Irene Torres; and her nieces and nephews, Andrea Torres (Lawrence), Cristina Torres (Amy), Ivan Pierce (Veronica), Isaac Pierce, and Vicent Pierce. She is also lovingly remembered by her great-nieces and great-nephews, including Winter, Violet, Scarlet, Liam, Logan and Nolan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosario Noguera Torres and Reyes Torres Sr., and her siblings, Rebecca (Torres) Pierce, Hector Torres, and Mary Torres.
Rachel will be remembered as a strong and generous woman whose faith, quiet strength, and love for her family defined her life.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a vigil at 6:30 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. El paso, Texas 79903. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, March 26, 2026 at 10:00 am at St Patrick Cathedral, 1118 N Mesa St, El Paso, Texas 79902.
Though she lived simply, the love she gave and the strength she showed will remain with her family forever.
