Raul Ernesto Blanco, 77, of El Paso, TX, passed away on June 13, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born on September 26, 1947, in Casas Grandes, Mexico. Raul is preceded in death by his parents, Ernesto Blanco & Consuelo Perez de Blanco, his brother, Roberto Blanco, as well as his son, Raul L. Blanco.
Raul was a proud graduate and loyal supporter of El Paso High School. He still met regularly with his fellow alumni to remember the “Good Ole Days”. His passions included working at the flower shop, spending time with his sisters and their spouses, and hosting his family.
Raul was happily married to his wife, Sandy, for 27 years. They worked together for years, building Debbie’s Bloomers flower shop and creating relationships throughout the community of El Paso and lasting memories for their employees.
Raul was dearly loved by his large family. He is survived by James Michael Blanco, Ana Gabriela Blanco (Roger), Vanessa Francine Quezada (Esteban), Derek Joel Blanco (Vanessa), Jon Dominik Blanco (Annaleah), Damian Shawn Blanco (Lindsey), Marisa Chanel Guerrero (Adan), Kaitlyn Marie Scarboro, his 24 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren that brought him immense pride and joy. He will forever be remembered for his Birthday Singing phone calls and his extra-affectionate kisses.
Visitation for Raul will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm followed by a reception from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, Texas 79903.
