Richard Nevarez

Loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. Successful entrepreneur, part owner of High Desert Ice and Water El Paso and Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant. He began his career at McKesson Drug, Then moved to Tonka Toys, Tony Lama Boot Company and Kessler Industries. Richard was well loved by all who knew him and was respected for his big heart, open smile and generosity. He lived to share his success with others. He loved his animals, his bike, the biking community but above all, his family. Known for his sense of humor, Richard never walked into a place without knowing someone or making a new friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survived by his wife Lisa, daughter Brianna (Brian Gomez), parents Manuel and Julieta Nevarez, brother Victor (Rosie), sisters Leticia Andrade (Rodrigo), Carmen Rogers, Armida Martinez (Ed), numerous nieces and nephews, and his beloved pets, Griffin, Woody & Buddy. Visitation Sunday, June 22, 2014 from 4pm to 7pm at Martin Funeral Home West. Funeral Service 9:30 am Monday, June 23, 2014 at Evergreen East Cemetery.
