Roberto Ramirez, beloved son, brother, husband, father and grandfather was born June 12, 1943 and left our lives to join his mother, Margarita, on a beautiful morning on January 12, 2014. He was an El Paso High and UTEP Alumni and was an officer in the U.S. Army. He had served the immigration community of the greater El Paso area with dedication, compassion and diligence. He is survived by his sister Olga and brother Francisco, his wife of 35 years Ludivina, sons Jose Roberto, Carlos Francisco, and Jorge Alberto; daughters Alexana Karina and Claudia Margarita, and grandchildren Luzdivana, Michelle Lee, Zoe and Ziggy Milan. His family would like to give extra thanks to Dr. Alfonzo Chavez.
Viewing will be held at Del Angel Harding-Orr & McDaniel Funeral Home, 320 Montana Ave., on Monday, January 20th, 2014 from 5-9 p.m. with the Rosary to start at 7 p.m. Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Cathedral 1118 N. Mesa on Tuesday, January 21st, 2014 at 9:15 a.m. with the burial to follow at Ft Bliss Cemetery.
