Rocky Ontiveros

Rocky Ontiveros, 66, born November 14, 1959, entered eternal rest on September 28, 2026. He is preceded in death by his father: Armando Ontiveros, Sr., maternal grandparents Dolores and Julian Rivera, Sr., paternal grandparents Antonia and Francisco Ontiveros.

Rocky is survived by his wife, Maria Pinon, his sons Michael (Lauren), and Jacob (Kyra). Mother, Mary Ontiveros. Sisters: Sylvia Gonzalez (Art) and Hilda Duran (Andy). Stepchildren: Michael (Leslie), and Marissa (Brandon+) as well as his grandchildren: Jase, Kyrsta. Step-grandchildren: Luken, Haley, Zaer. His nieces, Marie, Alisa (Joe). Nephews: Adam, Abel, Omar, Joseph, Malachi. Cousin, Julian Rivera III (Patricia), as well as many other cousins.

Rocky proudly served in the United States Navy.

Rocky was a 1978 graduate from Thomas Jefferson High School.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. El Paso, Texas 79903. On Thursday, October 8, 2026, from 5:00 P.M.-9:00 P.M. with a vigil at 7:00 P.M.

Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick Cathedral, 1118 N. Mesa El Paso, Texas 79902 on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 8:00 A.M.

Committal Service will be at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. El Paso, Texas 79906, at 9:30 A.M.
