Rudy attended Jefferson high school and worked for the El Paso Water company for 20 years.
Rudy enjoyed playing softball, watching wrestling, and rooting for any football team that wasn’t the Cowboys. Rudy looked forward to having breakfast with his brothers and then going to the casino, or as he called it “Bingo, Bingo” on Saturday mornings.
Rudy was a loving husband and father, but the title he cherished most was grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his father Rodolfo Rodriguez; mother Lucrecia Grajeda Rodriguez; brothers: Gasper Armando Rodriguez, Victor Rodriguez and sister Maria Dolores Rodriguez.
He is survived by his wife Dina Labrado, his daughter Delfina Glenn, his grandchildren: Isaiah Glenn and Ava Glenn, and his brothers: Roberto Rodriguez (Delia); Alberto Rodriguez (Rosa E); Richard Rodriguez (Elvia); George Rodriguez; and sister Martha Grajeda Rodriguez.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave., El Paso, Texas 79903. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, September 27, 2024, at 10 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 3729 Hueco Ave, El Paso, TX 79903, with interment to follow at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 401 S. Zaragoza Rd., El Paso, Texas 79907.
Rudy will be deeply missed, but we will carry his memory with us always.
