Rosa G Alaniz, 74, was born on September 5, 1952, in Anthony, New Mexico, and passed away on September 11, 2026. A woman of steady devotion and quiet strength, Rosa built a life centered on home and family, offering care in the everyday ways that leave a lasting mark. She resided in Anthony, Texas.
On March 25, 1968, she married Simon Alaniz, beginning a partnership rooted in family and shared life. She is survived by her children: Elizabeth Carrizal, Janie Alaniz, Samantha Alaniz, and Kristopher Alaniz; and by her grandchildren: Adriel Jr. Garza, Shane Garza, Shianne Vasquez, Chance Garza, Joseph Aguirre, Eric Quesada, and Gianna Quesada. She is also survived by her siblings, Senobia Hernandez and Norma Soto, and by her mother, Bertha Montellano.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Evergreen East, 12400 East Montana, El Paso, TX 79938, on September 18, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Prayer Service will follow at the same location on September 18, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
