Rosa B. Mota

A faithful follower of Christ who is now in the company of our Lord. Born November 10, 1922, she survived by her children and their spouses: Amada, Luis Roberto (Maria Elena), Ana (Ernesto), Lourdes (Leroy) and Joaquin Jr. (Elizabeth). She served as a beautiful example of a graceful woman to her ten grandchildren, six great grand children, and all the other individuals that she laid her love upon whole heartedly. She dedicated her life to being an example of God’s presence on Earth, and will live on in the memories we have of her faith and compassion that she so freely gave to us all, every day of her life. She was also an active, ever-present and dedicated member of the Our Lady of Assumption Church for over 50 years. She was pre-ceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Joaquin R. Mota, and her daughter Rosa Teresa. Viewing services will be help on Monday, May 28th from 2:00-4:30pm at Martin Funeral Home Central on 3839 Montana Ave., and from 6:00-7:00pm at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church followed by the Rosary services at 7:00pm. The funeral mass will proceed on Tuesday, May 29th, at 9:30am at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. Interment will be at Fort Bliss Cemetery.
