Shirley Griffith

Scripture service will be Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at 12:30 pm at Funeraria del Angel Central, 3839 Montana Ave. El Paso, Texas 79903 with a committal to follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley 4900 McNutt Rd, Santa Teresa, NM 88008.

Shirley was born in San Francisco, CA to Wilford T. Griffith, and Agnes Mae Griffith. Shirley graduated from Canutillo High School in 1968. She went to work for AT&T, Herman Miles Trucking, and finally North American Movers where she proudly worked until she retired.

Shirley was a loving sister and aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was known by all her family for her generosity, never forgetting a birthday, anniversary or holiday, and for her fun loving personality.

Shirley was fond of cats. She enjoyed casino games, watching movies, and listening to music. She was a Dallas Cowboys fan.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents Wilford T. Griffith, Agnes Mae Griffith, her nephew Michael T. Griffith, and her great-nephew Justin R. Murphy.

Shirley is survived by her loving brother William T. Griffith and his wife Sue Griffith; her nieces and nephew Brenda Ruiz(Albert Ruiz), Jerry Murphy, and Samantha Griffith; Christina Griffith; her great-nieces and nephews Eric Molina, Jennifer Molina(Ebal Galan), Jade Bowlin, Tiffani Griffith-Dowty(Stephen Dowty), Gary Murphy, Amber Murphy, Jordan Griffith(Katie Griffith); and her eleven great-great-nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Irma, Rosa, and Shirley's many wonderful neighbors.
