It is with sadness in our hearts that we say goodbye to our precious angel Sofia Maria Aguirre. With God’s blessings, Sofia passed peacefully in her sleep on September 29, 2025. Sofia’s family came to visit her to give their last respects and kiss her one more time before she joined family members in Heaven. Sofia was looked upon as a Mother figure by all because of her caring and loving nature. She was always there for her family by providing advice, praying for us, and cooking delicious meals. Sofia was the definition of love and always put her family first. Her legacy continues through her son Hector Aguirre and grandchildren: Colleen Aguirre, Leslie Aguirre, Jarrod Aguirre, Jaymee Barrett, Brittany Chavez, and Megan Chavez. Great grandchildren: Tommy Horvath, Brianna Aguirre, Abraham Barrett, Mason and Lucas Chavez and Everlee Barrett. Sofia was preceded in death by her husband, Juan F. Aguirre, her son, John F. Aguirre, and daughter, Sandra Aguirre Chavez. We want thank Maria Rosales, Sofia’s caregiver, for her love and devotion to our Mother during the past ten years. You were specifically chosen by God to watch over and care for your preciosa, and we will forever be grateful to you. Mom, until we see you again - we love you.
