Stephen is survived by his son Travis Joel Smith (Amanda Smith); his grandson Jaxon Joel Smith.

Stephen was preceded in death by his mother Patricia A. Smith and his father Ellis Joel Smith.

Stephen was hard to love but he loved hard.
