It is with love and gratitude that we celebrate the life of Timothy Joseph Saenz, a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, friend, and follower of Christ who passed away on September 25, 2026 at the age of 35.
Born on August 13, 1991 in El Paso, Texas, Tim was someone who found happiness in the simple things that made life an adventure. He loved being outdoors, and could often be found camping, fishing, hunting or exploring new places in his Jeep Cherokee. For Tim, there was rarely a better road than one that led somewhere off the beaten path.
Tim graduated from Hanks High School in 2010 and went on to earn his Advanced Welding Technology Degree from Western Technical College in 2018. For the past few years, Tim worked for Halcon, a railroad contractor in Santa Teresa, New Mexico. He enjoyed learning about the railroad industry and took pride in the work he did.
Tim had a deep love for his family, friends, and family dogs. He treasured the time he spent with the people closest to him and never hesitated offering his help to anyone who needed it. While we will miss Tim deeply, we choose to remember him through the things he loved most: a day spent in his Jeep, watching his LA Rams, a fishing trip, the companionship of a good dog, and the people he loved by his side.
He is survived by his parents, Gilbert & Evangelina Saenz, sister, Alyssa Saenz Cabezuela, brother-in-law, Justin Cabezuela, and grandmother Angelina Saenz, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will continue to celebrate his life and cherish the memories they made together.
A celebration of Tim’s life will be held on October 3, 2026 at LifeGate Church,10555 Edgemere Blvd. Visitation will be from 11AM - 12PM with services to follow after. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery at 2:30PM.
