He was born on August 31, 1938, in Juarez, Mexico and came to live in El Paso, Texas, when he was a small child. Victor loved gardening, trips to Cloudcroft, NM, taking walks, and spending time with his family. He also enjoyed vacationing in San Diego, California, and spending time at his farms.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Elena Blancas and four children: Gabriela Blancas Tiemann, Victor X. Blancas Jr., Lillian E. Blancas, and Moises I. Blancas. He is also survived by six grandchildren: Zachary Tiemann, Matthew Tiemann, Luke Blancas, Hannah Blancas, Sarah Blancas, and Andrew Blancas.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2014, with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Martin Central (Martin Funeral Home) 3839 Montana Ave., El Paso, Texas 79903.
