Victor Segura, 62, of El Paso, Texas, passed away at his home on August 22, 2025, surrounded by family and friends, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on October 6, 1962, in El Paso, Texas, to the late Ramon and Cecilia Segura, and remained a lifelong resident of his hometown.
Throughout his life, Victor worked in many fields, but found his calling as a training coordinator. He dedicated his career to guiding employees and helping them grow, and he was known as both an excellent teacher and a gifted speaker.
Victor loved music, especially the Beatles, and in his younger years was also an excellent country dancer, bringing energy and joy to every occasion. A devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, he followed his team faithfully — for better or worse. He was the life of every gathering, known for his humor, warmth, and ability to make anyone laugh. Above all, he cherished time with his family, who will carry his memory in their hearts.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Lillian Segura; his children, Jacob Segura and wife Andrianna, Victoria Segura and Alexander Alamo; his sister, Marti Segura-Nitschke and husband Steve Nitschke; and his brother, Joe Ray Segura and wife Audrey. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Johnny Segura, Patrick Segura and wife Faye, Dominic Segura, Gabriela Ford and husband Eamon, and Marissa Segura. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Cecilia Segura, with whom he is now reunited in eternal rest.
A visitation and rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at between 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 4805 Byron, El Paso, TX 79930. The funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the same location, with interment to follow at Restlawn Memorial Cemetery, 8700 Dyer, El Paso, TX.
Victor will be remembered for his love of life, his laughter, and his devotion to family and friends.
