William Glasgow Lucker Sr., Ph.D., was born on April 29, 1932 in Tientsin, China. He was the great-grandson of Joseph Magoffin and a lifelong resident of El Paso, Texas. On November 22, 2013, William (Bill) was born into his eternal life.
He is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-six years Marie G. Lucker, and siblings Sister Josephine Lucker, MM, and Lt. Col. Harry A. Lucker; his five children Josie, Jeanmarie, William, Richard and Catherine and their spouses Mike, Ben, Carol, Raquel and Richard. Bill was affectionately known as "Fafa" by his nine grandchildren, Cassie, Sienna, Joseph, Alba, Jaxon, Mason, Harrison, William and Miriam. His brother Gerry Lucker preceded him in death.
By the grace of God, Bill enjoyed a long life filled with many experiences. He served the U.S. Army in counter-intelligence in Panama where he met Marie from Ft. Worth, Texas. They married in 1957 and returned to El Paso where he served as a police officer and detective. Bill then undertook and completed a Ph. D. program in Psychology at Vanderbilt University.
He became a tenured Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Texas at El Paso. After twenty years of dedicated service, Bill retired from FCI La Tuna where he was the Chief Psychologist. Most notably, he was Our Eternal Scholar and enjoyed learning for the sake of knowledge.

Rosary will be held at 6:30 PM Tuesday November 26th, at Martin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, November 27th at 9:30 A.M at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
