Barbara McDonald died Monday, March 1, 2021 with family at home following her battle with brain cancer. Barbara Ann Dicker was born April 28, 1959 in Wiesbaden, Germany. Her parents are Robert and Christel (Gersbach) Dicker. Barbara was raised in Topeka, KS. She graduated from Washburn Rural High School in Kansas in 1977. She went on to Johnson County Community College and in 1982 received an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. Her career included bookkeeping and graphic art. She was a proud board member of the Oregon Society of Artists and the Lake Oswego Council Board. She also participated in Art in Pearl in Portland, OR for over 10 years. She is survived by her parents, daughter Megan Zamarano and husband Airto, grandchildren Levi, Sofia, Oliver; sisters Sandra Cowsert and husband Bryan and Monika McCaffrey and husband Timothy, and ex-spouse Ralph McDonald. A graveside service is planned for Friday March 12, 2021 at Estes Valley Memorial Gardens.
