Judy was born in Highland Park, Illinois on March 31, 1940. She was married to Allan Stahl and had four children. They moved to Colorado in 1972, when Allan was transferred through the telephone company. Once her children were in school, Judy began working in the kitchen at Rocky Mountain High School before moving on to become a loan officer at a local bank. She served her community as a member of the parish board and was on the architect’s committee for the construction of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. Allan passed away in 1979 after a 2-year battle with cancer.
Judy met Frank DiFrancesco at St. Elizabeth’s and the two were married in 1982. A creative spirit, Judy loved crafts and anything that involved computers. Upon retiring from banking, Judy volunteered at the Fort Collins Children’s Clinic, handling their computer development and data entry.
In 1990, Judy and Frank relocated to Sun Lakes, Arizona, where they became active in the local computer club and later started their own “mom and pop” computer business. Judy dedicated many years to Neighbors Who Care where she provided client services and maintained their computer systems. Frank and Judy were active members of the Sun Lakes Lions Club and played an important role in their “Fly the Flag” program. Frank passed away in 2016, also after battling pancreatic cancer.
