Jane was the daughter of Thomas Jefferson Meade and Leona Rose Meade. In 1969, she moved to Mount Plymouth from Cashmere, West Virginia, making her home in the community she would remain close to for the years that followed. She was a devoted homemaker, giving steady care and attention to the everyday work that shapes a family’s life.
Jane was married to J. Hiram Woods until his passing in 2003. She also found strength and fellowship through her attendance at the Sorrento Church of God. She was known for playing the piano beautifully and loved to play and sing hymns to honor God.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Frederick Woods of Mount Plymouth, Florida, and many nieces and nephews.
A service will be held at Harden Pauli Funeral Home in Eustis, Florida, on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 2:00PM, with interment to follow at Pine Forest Cemetery in Mount Dora, Florida.
