Billy Joe Pierce

Billy Joe Pierce, 66, of Eustis, was born March 9, 1960, in Orlando, Florida to the late Herbert James and Nezzie Pierce and passed away June 7, 2026. Joey graduated from Apopka High School, Class of 1978. After high school, he joined the United States Air Force and served his country with dedication through a 16-year career. Those who knew Joey remember a man whose steady kindness made others feel immediately at ease—someone who was a friend to all and never knew a stranger. His presence carried a quiet dignity and a genuine openness that left a lasting impression on family, friends, and all who crossed his path. Joey is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sonia Pierce of Eustis; daughter, Tanya Pierce of Eustis; sister, Penny Garris; grandson, Devon; four nieces, Sandy, Cassie, Kristi, Kim; and four nephews, Christopher, Jason, Michael, Josh. A Memorial Service will be held at Harden-Pauli Funeral Home, 1617 South Bay Street, Eustis, FL 32726 on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
