Brian Carey Francis

Brian Carey Francis, 61, passed away on October 11, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. Born on September 17, 1965, in Kingston, Jamaica, Brian was the youngest son of the late Edgar G. and Norma L. Francis. In 1997 Brian moved his young family to Orlando FL where they spent 19 years before moving to Arizona and North Carolina for a few years. In 2022, Brian returned to the Sunshine State and he made his home Sorrento, Florida, where he continued to be a steady presence to those who knew and loved him. Throughout his professional life, Brian earned the respect of colleagues and peers through dedicated leadership and a clear commitment to service. He served as Vice President, Benefits Outsourcing for Conduent, and as Vice President, Service Center Operations for Bswift. Most recently, he held the role of Director of Non Qualified Client Services for Newport Financial Services. Brian’s most important role was that of being a husband and father, his life was grounded in devotion to family. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sherryl Francis; his sons, Brian Carey Francis, Jr. and Brandon Corey Francis; his daughters, Brianna Cecilia Francis, and Olivia Nickole Sharpe Francis; and his granddaughter, Elena Joie Francis. He is also survived by his brothers, Ludlow Francis, Errol Francis, and Michael Francis; and his sisters, Marlene Francis, Michelle Chin-Dyer, and Debra Thomas. He also found fellowship and enjoyment through the Mancation Golf Club, a community that reflected the value he placed on camaraderie and connection. A Memorial Service will be held at Harden-Pauli Funeral Home, 1617 South Bay Street, Eustis, FL 32726, on November 7, 2026, at 11:00 am.
