

Dallas Harold Wilson, 88, was born April 1, 1938, in Russell County, Kentucky, and passed away July 2, 2026, in Foley, Alabama. He was the son of Lauren Beckham Wilson and Alma Pearl Wilson. Dallas served in the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of Specialist 4, and later built a steady career as a claims adjuster in the insurance industry. A man of faith, he was a member of Grand Island Baptist Church.
In 1997, Dallas moved to Central Florida from Odenville, Alabama, and in 2024 he moved to Foley, Alabama. Through the years and across each place he called home, he carried himself with quiet dignity and a deep sense of responsibility—qualities reflected in his service to his country, his work, and his devotion to those he loved.
Dallas was preceded in death by his son, Darrell H. Wilson. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Rena Wilson of Foley, Alabama; his daughter, Donna W. (John) Legan of Foley, Alabama; his brothers, Deward Wilson and Donald Wilson of Indiana; three grandchildren, Dillan Fields, Jordan Pierce, Kennedy Wilson-Talmadge; and one great-granddaughter, Kimberlie Fields.
Visitation will be held at Harden-Pauli Funeral Home, 1617 South Bay Street, Eustis, FL 32726, on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 12:00 - 1:00 pm with services beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Eustis, Florida.
