Darlene Odette Covert, 87, passed away on May 9, 2026. Born on February 3, 1939, in Danville, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late William Edward and Ida Belle Wilson. In 2004, she moved to Eustis, Florida, from Cookson, Oklahoma. Darlene worked as an assembler in microscopic electronics, a role that reflected a steady dedication to careful, precise work. Her years of employment spoke to a life shaped by responsibility and perseverance, carried out with quiet purpose. Darlene was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur B. Covert. She is survived by her son, Monty Covert; her daughters, Tina Morris and Vickie Perez; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. Darlene will be remembered with respect and gratitude by all who knew her, and by the family who carries her memory forward.
