Donald graduated from high school and went on to build a steady working life in the automotive industry, including his time with Bill Bryan Chrysler, Jeep, and Hyundai.
Donald married Maureen G Ellison on December 24, 1999.
A committed member of the American Legion in The Villages, Florida, Donald was known for his passion for Veterans as well as for his wife.
Donald is survived by Paul Ellison, Matthew Ellison, Amy Ellison Wesling, Taylor Wesling, Gabby Wesling, Makaelyn Ellison, Lily Ellison, Jim Ellison, and Janet Shumaker.
