Harry Ernst Williams

It is with heavy hearts, but ones filled with joy and peace that we announce Harry Ernst Williams has gone home to be with the Lord on September 14, 2026 at Clermont, Florida. Harry was born on February 22, 1945 in Dartmouth, Massachusetts.

Harry was a Vietnam-era veteran of the Coast Guard who later went into business as a builder and developer. While being a builder was a vocation, it was also his calling. With his foundation in Christ and his plumb line as the Word of God, Harry and Linda were married on October 15th, 1966 and built a wonderful 60-year life together.

Harry earned his bachelor’s degree from Southeastern Massachusetts University and his M.B.A. from Northeastern. Harry’s career took him around the country, building houses and developments in Massachusetts, New York, Ohio, Florida, New Hampshire, Virginia, and Florida. He was a division manager, who led with integrity and professionalism, which left a lasting imprint on colleagues and community alike.

Harry was known for his honesty, his faith in Christ, and his great love for his family. Hobbies and interests included genealogy, the Masonic Organization, traveling, and being with his loved ones. He was a true gentlemen and enjoyed helping in the church and wherever needed.

Together, Harry and Linda raised and remained close to their three wonderful children and spouses: Erik (Alley) Williams, Mark (Monica) Williams, and Cynthia (Michael) Keeler. They also have eight grandchildren: Willem, Linda, Madisyn, Abigail, Evan, Caleb, Kelli, and Allison, and four great-grandchildren: Emmy, Theo, Hazel, and Alana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lynde and Bertha Williams.

Harry’s life will be celebrated at Tavares Community Church at 11:00 am on October 15th. Friends and family are invited to attend the celebration of life ceremony, followed by a reception.

In honor of Harry’s memory and his strong character, faith, and values, the family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Samaritan’s Purse or a Parkinson’s research organization such as The Michael J. Fox Organization.

Harry will be remembered with deep respect, love and enduring gratitude by all who had the privilege to know him.
