John Michael Perryman

Mike was a longtime resident of Grand Island and a proud Army Reserve veteran. He will be remembered for the life he lived, the friendships he made, and the memories he shared with those around him. An avid whitetail deer hunter and bass fisherman, Mike found great joy in the outdoors and cherished time spent in nature. He was also a lifelong sports enthusiast, especially devoted to his beloved Florida Gators.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Darlene (Mills) Perryman; his parents, William Samuel Perryman and Elsie (Adkison) Perryman; and his sister, Susan Perryman.

He is survived by his sons, Casey Samuel Perryman and Matthew Mills Perryman; his grandchildren, Clayton Perryman and Mackenzie Perryman, children of Casey Perryman, and Laney Mills Perryman, daughter of Matthew Perryman; and his brother, William “Huck” Perryman. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will continue to cherish his memory.

Mike’s presence touched many, and he leaves behind a legacy of strength, loyalty, and love for family that will not be forgotten.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no memorial service, and the family kindly requests no flowers. His cremated remains will be laid to rest with his beloved wife at Crum Cemetery in Summerfield.
