Christine Strayer passed on March 10, 2026, at the age of 91. Born on January 9, 1935, in Bonifay, Florida to the late George Albert and Viola Squires, she moved to Lake County in 1992 from West Islip, New York. Christine was a member of Midway Baptist Church, Leesburg. She is survived by her son, Bryan (JoAnn) Strayer of Sorrento, FL; 2 daughters, Nancy LaManna of Grand Island, FL, Deborah Marchese of Mount Dora, FL; brother, William "Buddy" (Shirley) Squires of Newnan, GA; 2 sisters, Juanita Meyers of Chipley, FL, Marynell (Otis) Whitehead of Bonifay, FL; 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A Graveside Committal will be held at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513, US, on March 17, 2026, at 10:30 am.
