In Loving Memory of My Beloved Mother
My mother was a special soul, one of God‘s elect. She dedicated her life to Christ. Finding an opportunity in every moment to teach and preach the word of God to those around her, especially to those she loved. Planting seeds was her mission, ensuring all knew His name.
She preached the second coming of Christ. As she would say, “If you can pinch yourself, He is not here.”
My mom wanted to be part of the spiritual army, fighting side by side with Jesus upon his return to claim all God's children. She believed with all her heart that Christ is to return, and she wanted to be ready to claim Victory. As she would say, “Swords drawn!”
The love she had for Christ, her family, especially for her grandchildren, was fierce and strong, something to be admired.
Always thinking of others with a giving heart. She had little to give but gave all she had.
Her struggles were made into testimony and her life made an example. She lived each day with a smile, faithful, trusting and committed.
She loved to express herself through song and had such a beautiful voice.
The special connection she had with animals was truly beautiful to witness. Our animals, in particular, she spoiled almost more than her grandchildren. She always dreamed of having a farm where she could give to those in need, through the kind of unconditional love, comfort and healing only animals can provide. I can only imagine the farm she has now in Heaven and how happy she is.
Her ability to pray and connect, pray with you and for you was spiritually profound.
A life beautifully marked by constant prayer and unwavering faith.
She would pray without ceasing, reflecting a heart completely at rest in God's presence. A heart anchored in prayer; from this came her ultimate strength and perseverance.
She would want to be remembered through scripture. Comforting us left behind. Reminding us of God's promises.
Romans 8:28 — We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him.
Matthew 5:4 — Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
Psalm 34:18 — The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Proverbs 3:5-6 — Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.
Philippians 4:7 — The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Isaiah 40:31 — Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
1 Thessalonians 4:17 — We will be together again and with the Lord forever.
1 Corinthians 13:12 — You will know your loved ones completely, just as God fully knows you right now.
Luke 9:30-31 — We are fully recognized as ourselves.
Numbers 6:24-26 — The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord makes his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turns his face toward you and gives you peace.
“Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
Until we are together again, I will not think of my mom as gone, but resting in the arms of Jesus—spiritually set free. To know her was to love her, and she will be missed beyond measure. Her light will continue to shine through everyone touched by a life beautifully lived, a soul never forgotten.
In memory of my beloved mom, please spend as much time with God as you can, pray without ceasing, and never take for granted the precious days we are given on earth. Let us all choose to cherish our loved ones, extend deep compassion and empathy, and give freely even when we feel we have nothing left. Above all, love with your whole heart, and remember to always live walking hand in hand with Christ Jesus.
I love you, Mom. I will miss you deeply and carry you with me in my heart always. May the Lord’s light surround you, and may you rest peacefully in the loving arms of God and His eternal grace.
