Bob was born at home in Zion Illinois, oldest son of Donald Gordon Moore and Barbara Marie Wedekind Moore. He was predeceased by his older sister Anita, and brother Marty (Sheila). Remembered by brothers Tom, Mickey (JoAnne), and James (Wendy) along with nieces and nephews.
Bob lived diverse chapters in his 73 years. His employment through the years consisted mostly of building and home repair. He was passionate about organic and biodynamic gardening and sharing his herbal and natural healing knowledge which included studying qi gong in china. He wildcrafted food wherever he lived and could live off eating weeds if he felt like it. He mined for opal in Australia and was skilled at faceting and polishing stones. He spent multiple years living in Belize. His last decade was spent in Leesburg Florida on Sunnyside Drive where he planted the property into a food forest and large garden. His absolute pride and joy were his two children Anita Kathleen Garvin and Luken Robert James Garvin. They were both born at home in Leesburg to his partner Mary Garvin. They spent good times paddling a canoe in various Florida springs, hiking, gardening, and, of course, everyone’s favourite, at the beach.
Bob found a warm family welcome from his friends at All Things Restored (ATR), a church in Jacksonville, Florida. He frequently made the long drive to spend time in their precious community.
May good memories of his generosity and good times together remain strong with those who loved him.
