Alexander Memorial Park Flag Dedication Program 2018

Families in Evansville, Indiana, dedicated Memorial Day flags to loved ones through Alexander Memorial Park's annual Flag Dedication Program. Since 1990, families have given gifts to charity in memory of loved ones through this meaningful Memorial Day Remembrance Program. Charities have included: American Red Cross, Shriners' Hospital for Children, Make-A-Wish Foundation, American Cancer Society, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, American Heart Foundation, Evansville's Food Pantry, YMCA, "Operation: Support on the Home Front," the Retired Veterans Memorial Club, and the Evansville Police Department K-9 Unit, "SWIRCA & MORE," "C.J.'s Bus," founded in memory of 2-year old C. J. Martin, who died in Evansville's 2005 tornado, provides rapid response mobile recreation to children who have experienced a disaster.
