

Ann was born in Madisonville, Kentucky on June 24, 1925 to the late Guy and Annie (Webb) Galloway. She was an active member of Northside Congregational Church and Old North United Methodist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher. Ann was employed as a record clerk for Republic Air Craft, a secretary for Schnacke and a receptionist and telephone operator for Keller Crescent for over 40 years. Ann was a Reach to Recovery Volunteer after having breast cancer herself. She enjoyed square dancing, sewing, traveling and especially spending time with her family.
Ann is survived by her daughters, Pat Theobald (Dan) of Mahomet, IL and Gay Walthall of Evansville, IN; brother, Nick Galloway (Connie) of Newburgh, IN; grandchildren, Chris McCormick (Carrie), Brian McCormick, Colleen Pryke (Darren), Pete McCormick (Jill), twins, Bob and Tom McCormick; great grandchildren, Aiden McCormick, Colin McCormick, Eloise Pryke, Charlotte Pryke, Josephine Pryke, twins, Payton and Paul McCormick, Finn McCormick and Taylor McCormick.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Harold Paul Hixon in 2009; her parents; siblings, Mary Dickerson (Jim), Woodie Pruitt (Bob), and William Guy Galloway, Jr.; and a grandchild, Darby Walthall.
Sharing of memories will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Browning Funeral Home.
