

Arnold was a member of Grace Baptist Church, a former member of New Bethel Southern Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Air Force. Music was a very important part of Arnold’s life; he loved to sing and he was involved with many different vocal groups throughout his lifetime.
Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Charlene (Palmer) Bridgeman; a son, Timothy (Jennifer) Bridgeman of Westminster, SC; stepdaughter, Lori Kassel Reed; stepsons, Bill Petree of Westminster, SC; Kyle (Lauri) Kassel of Evansville; brother, Rick (Donna) Bridgeman of Evansville; eight grandchildren, Cody and Tyler Bridgeman, Jessica Lane, Brendan, Arcadia and Ryan Kassel, Ali and Cooper Kassel-Reed and two great grandchildren.
Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, Chester L and Ethel (Wray) Bridgeman and by a brother, Randy Joe Bridgeman.
Funeral services for Arnold will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, January 4, 2016 at Grace Baptist Church, 1200 N. Garvin Street, Dr. Steve Hale and Rev. Jason Paul officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, where the Vanderburgh County Retired Veterans Memorial Club will conduct military rites.
Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Sunday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street and from 9:30 A.M. until service time on Monday at Grace Baptist Church.
