

Betty worked in sales as an Avon representative for many years. She loved bowling, crocheting, camping, yard sales and traveling. She especially enjoyed her trips to Cancun. Betty also enjoyed being a member of the Red Hat Society.
Surviving Betty are her daughter, Donna (James) Claybrooks of Evansville; grandchildren, Lisa (Shane) Wilke, Jennifer (Zach) Harrell and Aaron Claybrooks; great grandchildren, Taylor and Jake Wilke, Ethan, Cade and Reese Harrell; brother, Jack (Debbie) Kincade of Evansville; a son-in-law, Shawn Powell; niece, Tammy Hargett; nephew, Troy Vaupel and her beloved dog, Gizmo.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Bernard Betz in 1999, by her daughter, Debbie Powell in 2011; by her sister and brother-in-law, Rosie and Bill Vaupel and by her son-in-law, Paul Chandler.
Funeral services for Betty will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Memorial Park Cemetery Heritage Chapel. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Friday at the cemetery chapel. Entombment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pierre Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
