Bonnie J. McConnell

Bonnie was born in Evansville, IN on July 13, 1945 to Ed and Thelma Lynn (Harrington) Berfanger. She was a 1963 graduate of Reitz High School. Bonnie retired from Bristol Myers after many years of service. She attended Northwoods Church and enjoyed sewing and knitting and spending time with her family. She was an avid sports fan and loved the St. Louis Cardinals.

Bonnie is survived by her brothers, Gary Berfanger, and Bob Berfanger (Phyllis), both of Evansville, IN, twin brother, Ronnie Berfanger, Port Charolotte, FL and Eddie Berfanger (Gerri), O'Fallon, MO, sisters, Judy Hollerbach (Larry), Donna Leach, and Karen Lang all of Evansville, IN, 23 nieces and nephews, including Terri McCann and Kerri English who cared for her, 43 great nieces and nephews.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jack Berfanger.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 17, 2014 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave. with Rev. Edward Collins officiating. Burial will be held at Alexander Memorial Park.

Friends may visit from 12:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Browning Funeral Home.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the VNA Hospice Center and all of the nurses that cared for her at home including, Laura, Andrea, Rhonda and Kelly.
