Carol Sue Hyatt

Carol Sue (Matthews) Hyatt, 76, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014, at West Park Rehabilitation Center. She was born February 19, 1938, in Evansville, to the late Arthur and Madeline Matthews.

She called Bingo at the Order of the Owls, Germania Maennerchor and SWIRCA. She also chaperoned the bus for the deaf and blind children through EVSC for 25 years. She was a member of Order of Owls and Germania Maennerchor.

Carol was preceded in death by her daughter, Tammie Mosher; and sisters, Dorothy Schoonover, Betty Daniels and Mary Bates.

She is survived by her husband, William Hyatt; son, Bill (Marjie) Hyatt; daughter, Wendy Reel; and grandchildren, Heather (Marc) Jette of Apache Junction, AZ, Amanda and Kenny Reel, Hannah Quirey of Evansville, Danielle Marklin, Jace and Ian Mosher, all of Helena, MT.

Services were 11:00 AM Friday, June 6, 2014, at Alexander West Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends visited Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Friday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
