I was very sorry to hear of your loss. I knew Casel as "Butch"... he was our mailman when I was very young and that was how I pronounced his name. I waited for him often and he would give me the mail and say "see you later alligator" and I would respond "after while crocodile". I received " letters occasionally" that I later learned were from him. I am sorry for your loss and remember him with a smile.

I was so sorry to learn about Casel. You and your entire family were such a big part of my life growing up, I just wanted to let you know you were in my thoughts.

Casel was my mailman for many years in the 70s, and took care to acknowledge my young son with "letters" to him. He even sent him a post card from the Smokies once. Later, he made wooden trains for both my sons, which they each still have. I still have the kitchen magnet he made me on my fridge. He was such a great guy! My prayers for his family.

We are saddened to hear of the loss of our friend Casel. He was one of our favorite patients for many years. His ready smile and quick wit were always appreciated. He made many things for our office workers from notepads that go beside the telephone to our names carved carefully from a block of wood. He will be missed by you his family but also by the many friends he made throughout his lifetime.
Please accept our deepest sympathies.

Mr. Bush was our Mailman my whole life til I was married and moved away. I was in college from 1971-1975 and every time I wrote home I wrote to him on the back of the letters. He always thanked me and greeted me when I was home from school and he was always kind to the neighbors and my mother and dad on his route. He was a special man and will be missed.
