

Charlie was born in Posey County, Indiana on April 25, 1925. He worked at Cooke Chevrolet as a salesman for many years and later worked for NAPA as a truck driver in the distribution center. Charlie was an active member of St. Matthews United Church of Christ.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 61 years, Wanda Ruth (Miller) Kemper of Evansville, IN; daughters, Jennifer Ruth Harrison of Columbus, IN, Toby Ann Kollker (Tom) of Evansville, IN; sons, Scott Glen Kemper (Cindy) of Evansville, IN, James Robert Boyd (JoAnn) of Rapid City, SD; sister, Jane Rea (Jim); brother, Roy Kemper (Elizabeth); sister-in-law, Linda Behagg; grandchildren, James Boyd (Teresa), Scott Boyd (Tammy), Todd Kollker (Jerady), Tracy Kollker- Coleman (Sean), Jeremy Kemper, James Harrison; 9 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, John and Edna Elizabeth (Weatherford) Behagg, and a brother, Donald Gene Behagg.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Rev. Art Christmas officiating. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 27, 2014 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 10:00 AM until service time on Friday.
