Charlotte Jordan

Charlotte was born in Evansville, Indiana on July 24, 1921 to the late Barbara (Rausch) and Earl Reese. She loved to cook, sew, crochet and do crafts. Charlotte especially loved spending time with her family and caring for her beloved dogs.

Charlotte is survived by her daughter, Donna (Randy) Kissinger; son, Wayne (Carolyn) Franklin; sister, Eloise… Mahler; step-daughter-in-law, Mamie Jordan; grandchildren, Dorrie Sigler, Robin (Chris) Stuard, Sharon (David) Durkee, Josh Franklin and Bridget Franklin; great-grandchildren, Madison, Andrea, Sidney, Spencer, Krysten (Jim), Josh (Becky), and Colin (Lauren); and by her great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, William Elvis Jordan; her parents; step-son, Robert Jordan; and by her grandchildren, Sandy Jordan, Greg Franklin and Farris Franklin.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN with Pastor Fred Denton officiating. Entombment will follow at Alexander Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Friends may visit from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at Browning Funeral Home and again from 10:00 AM until service time on Thursday.
