David Harrison Sr.

Dave was an employee of J.E. Shekell Heating and Air Conditioning Incorporated for over 15 years. He was also a member of the Sheet Metal Local 20E. Dave's coworkers were like brothers to him. He was dedicated to his family, his job, and he loved to fish.

Dave is survived by his son, David Robert Harrison, Jr. and wife Stephanie Hardin Harrison of Chandler, Indiana; four grandchildren, Amanda (Brian) Tompkins, Craig Fritsch, Danielle Roach, and Caleb Johnson; two great grandchildren, Abbie M. and Allie N. Tompkins; a brother, Daniel B. Harrison, Sr. of The Villages, Florida; two sisters, Patsy V. Harrison Holt of Mountain Home, Idaho and Paula J. Harrison Gatewood and husband Donald of Marion, Kentucky; nieces and nephews, Nichole V. Fouke, Dawn R. Wilson, Jeremy J. Gatewood, Sara J. Campbell, and Daniel B. Harrison III.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel B. and Ruth E. Harrison; and a brother, Samuel N. Harrison

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, September 26, 2014 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Avenue, Evansville, Indiana 47711 with Pastor Jason Davis officiating. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Browning Funeral Home and from 10:00 AM until service time on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dave's son's church, New Hope Community Church, 5422 Vann Road, Newburgh, Indiana 47630.
