David M. Ormond, 65, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Cypress Grove Nursing Home. He was born February 10, 1947, in Covington, Kentucky.
David was a paramedic for over 24 years.
He was a member of Morningside Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
David was a Navy Veteran. He was decorated for wounds he received during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Lera Ormond.
David is survived by his sister, Phyllis Corritore of Brentwood, Tenn.
Services will be 11 a.m Monday, July 30, 2012, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. James Messer, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. The Vanderburgh County Retired Veterans will conduct military rites at the cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
