Born and raised in Birdseye, IN, Dorothy was a true country girl who left a small town for the big city of Indianapolis where she met Phillip E. Frazier. They married on June 17, 1955, and moved to Evansville in 1959 where they raised three sons, Greg, Gary, and Garth.
Dorothy was the office manager at Hutch & Son Inc. in the 60’s & 70’s, and then devoted her life to her family and being a homemaker. She was the “MOM of all MOM’s” and loved her family dearly. After raising her sons, she worked at St. Mary’s Catholic Church for many years.
Dorothy never seemed to tire, cleaning her house daily and being the homemaker she always was. She enjoyed travelling, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends. As a member of the Homemakers Club, she volunteered many hours at the 4H Fair.
Dorothy was a Christian and active member of Central United Methodist Church since 1960. She served several ways in different classes, most recently treasurer and past president of the US Class. She donated many hours to the church working in the office; rack shack, food pantry and United MYF just to mention a few. Church was a big part of her life where she had many valued friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of Newburgh Healthcare and Hospice.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip, her parents, Frank and Mae (Hollowell) Williamson and brother, Paul Williamson.
