

Eloise O. Mossberger, 86, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Deaconess Hospital. She was born October 13, 1926, in Wasson, IL to the late Ernest Dewey and Clyde Emily (McDonnough) Wasson.
She was an organist for Victory Baptist Church and New Bethel Baptist Church, where she was also a member. She was a bookkeeper at Mead Johnson, Peter Healey Brass and Carhartt.
Eloise was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Willard and George Wasson; and husband, Norman Mossberger.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Chuck) Cardona of Cabot, Arkansas; sons, Kenny (Kate) Mossberger and Terry (Anne) Mossberger, both of Evansville; grandchildren, Julia Stringfellow, Kari (Johnathan) Tate, Kristie (Andrew) Alexander, Kellie (Lance) Adler, Kendie (Chris) French, Lisa Harwood and Shari (Bob) Blem; 17 great-grandchildren; great-great-granddaughter, Maysi; sisters, Joann Fritts and Janice Wasson; and brothers, Robert Wasson and Lyndell (Judy) Wasson.
Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Don Moore, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday from 12:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
