Florence was born February 19, 1925 in Evansville to the late Silas and Betty (Marshall) Russell. She had worked as a cook and a waitress in many restaurants, including Helen’s and the Deaconess Walnut Room.
Surviving are two daughters, Virginia Schwindel of Evansville and Jackie (Paul) Moore of Franklin, KY; a son, Harry (Joann) Moore of Evansville; two grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband Mervin Moore in 1989 and by her second husband John Price.
Funeral services for Florence will begin at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, Rev. Terry Gamblin officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Wednesday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
