Harvey Walter Dillingham, 88, of Evansville, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014, at Newburgh Health Care. He was born February 17, 1925, in Evansville to the late John and Alma (Lipking) Dillingham.
He was a decorated Navy Veteran serving in World War II. Following his return from serving in the US Navy he worked for Whirlpool Corporation and retired after 34 years of employment.
Harvey was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John E. Dillingham; and wife, Mary (Wilson) Dillingham.
He is survived by his daughter, Patty Ann Schnacke; son, Louis E. (Leona) Dillingham; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four brothers, Charles, Fred, Alan and Joe; and sister, Darlene Maveety.
